Margot Parmenter is a critic and nonfiction writer with an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

She received the 2021 Hub City/Emrys Writing Prize for Nonfiction, and her essay “Amongst Reasonable Men” was selected by Melissa Febos as the winner of the 2020 Sewanee Review Nonfiction contest. Her writing has appeared in The Rumpus, Into the Void, and Savannah Magazine.

She also holds a BA from the University of Chicago, a JD from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, and a BCL from Oxford.
